Helping Others Recognize Solutions Experientially
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

What is EAP?

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is an experiential form of therapy that incorporates horses as a tool for learning and emotional growth. EAP is facilitated by a team consisting of a certified equine specialist and a licensed therapist. EAP is client-solution oriented and provides an environment in which information can be gathered and processed quickly and effectively. EAP can be used to treat all mental health and development needs including, but not limited to: behavioral issues, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, ADD, ADHD, communication disorders, addictions, and grief counseling.
